Immersive experience

Past, present and future meet in the Time Capsule, an immersive experience that tells a bit of the 110 years of history of the Sugar Loaf Cable Car Park. When observed from the outside, the Time Capsule is like a ship resting on the slope of Morro da Urca, but in the end it turns out to be a lookout point for one of the most beautiful landscapes in Rio de Janeiro.

The Time Capsule takes the visitor on an audiovisual journey. Immersed in 14 screens with narration, the visitor sees historical and present images of characters, facts and curiosities that made this monument one of the biggest on the planet.
