Interactive Installation

The interactive Installation Beco das Palavras is one of the main installations of the Portuguese Language Museum’s permanent exhibition, and the most interactive one. Actor and writer Marcelo Tas is the curator and script writer. It’s an etymology game: visitors can join pieces of words by waving their hands in the air, to form an specific word and watch an animations about its origin. There are more than 120 animations, and a sophisticated and intuitive interaction design. The Museum of Portuguese Language is one of the most visited in Brazil.
