Online Festival

SuperUber developed and produced the online live event platform for the VFXRio 2020 conference. This year being the 4th edition, VFXRio brings together the best in the world in visual effects technologies to inspire, exchange knowledge, and create business networks between educational institutions, producers, and companies.

This year the event was adapted to an online digital format. The platform (SuperApp), created by SuperUber, set the VFXRio.com website as the hub for the conference experience – from registrations to live transmissions. With a responsive format, SuperApp also functioned as an app on smartphones. Once users registered on the platform they filled their personal event calendar with the live talks they would like to watch. Users could choose between simultaneously translated broadcast channels of English and Portuguese.
