Launch of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Logo

For the launch of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games logo, SuperUber filled the 2 meter-long sculpture with custom projection-mapped animations inspired by the city’s natural beauty and love for sport. The installation filled the sculpture with light and movement creating an experience aligned with the logo’s concept: movement and tridimensionality. The Olympic logo was presented by the Rio 2016 Committee at the legendary Copacabana Palace, in Rio de Janeiro, on New Year’s Eve 2010, and was broadcast live to millions of spectators on Copacabana Beach. The logo was designed by Tátil Design.
